CardioBoxing 45
Duration: 45 minutes
 
CardioBoxing workouts employ varied moves including straignt jabs, hooks, uppercuts, cross jabs, low to mid-range kicks, and defensive bob and weave moves intermixed with cardiovascular exercises like mountain climbers, burpees, jumping jacks, and more.  The pace is non-stop, intense and fun!

Workouts vary per instructor and change frequently so your body will always be asked to adapt eliminating plateaus.

 
Workouts can utilize sets of boxing gloves, punching mitts, heavy bags and other portable equipment (all provided).
 
The workouts are high intensity however, we encourage you to go at your own pace.

Kick back and enjoy a realistic Ryde on the only bikes in the valley that turn and lean to provide a very unique challenge to your core and upper body!

Instruction will cover a wide range of techniques from intervals, sprints, climbs, and more! Ryde style and intensity will vary for this 60 minute Ryde!

Yoga Movement 60

Yoga Movement classes at SWEAT, consists of the traditional physical exercise based upon poses that promote improved control of the mind and body to enhance well-being.  It’s designed to utilize a variety of Yoga movements (minus the traditional spiritial disipline) emphasizing controlled breathing, and poses to help stretch and strengthen the body. 

The Yoga Movement class may also include a variety of core, pilates, foam roller and stretching moves.

I have been a member at Sweat for almost 7 years. I am so thankful for this community of health and fitness. The staff has a wide breadth of experience and expertise. The classes are fun and challenging. The classes are changed up to keep people engaged. This is a very positive place of health and healing. I recovered from having babies here. I cross trained trained for several events here (Spartan, Escape from Alkatraz, Sf Half marathon, Monterey Bay Half, and 5ks and
mud runs). I have trained for “life” here, keeping up w my boys in street hockey, sledding and hiking threw the snow without getting winded, and backpacking without injury. I look forward to meeting physical challenges in 2020 knowing I am part of a sweet community of people pursuing health through medicinal movement. Thank you Sweat!

Today I had my first appointment at Sweat. I met with Lakiesha and Roger and they were both great. They were patient, kind, and welcoming. They answered all my questions and took their time explaining everything to me. The gym was clean and well equipped. I had a mini workout session with Lakiesha to assess my fitness level. The workout was challenging (it’s been a long time since I worked out), but Lakiesha encouraged me the entire time. I love that they have a fully functional app, so I’m able to book classes and appointments. I appreciate the variety of classes they offer and I appreciate that I can take classes in the evening. I’m really excited to try their cardio boxing class. Overall I had a very positive experience and I would highly recommend.

My first class there was tonight. I took a boxing fitness class. Class was challenging but you could modify as needed. The instructor was clear about what we were to do and really encouraging. Class was small so we were comfortable in our space. The gym is clean and well put together.

SWEAT is the best gym I honestly have ever attended. Lakiesha and Rodger are truly a blessing. From the very beginning, the entire SWEAT team and the members were so welcoming and genuinely friendly. The trainers are encouraging and push you to be your best! I have enjoyed all of their classes; my favorites are Pound, Kangoo, Bootcamp, but I’ve always enjoyed and gotten awesome workouts in Cycling, Kettlebell…I look forward to trying all of the other classes SWEAT offers as well!!

SWEAT has also contributed to my love of hiking. The hikes that they’ve organized have pushed me further than I ever realized I could go on my health journey. I truly appreciate each and every SWEAT instructor and their ability to make me LOVE the gym! If you’re looking for an awesome gym, look no further! Seriously.

I attended my first of hopefully many classes at Sweat this morning. Some friends have been recommending Sweat to me for several years. Roger was very friendly and welcoming. I was quite pleased that the workout started on time. I’m a “if I’m on time I’m late” person. My experience at another area fitness studio was the posted start time was a more of a suggestion than anything else. Roger was up beat and encouraging throughout the class. I very much look forward to tomorrows spin class.
